Rouge Valley Conservation Centre

 

The Rouge Valley Conservation Centre is excited to offer children ages 5-12 the opportunity to join our Winter Break Day Camp program from January 3 - 6, 2016. Children will have an exciting and fun filled day exploring nature and learning about our daily themes with our trained staff.

Dates:

Camp is offered on a weekly and daily registration basis from January 3 - 6, 2016. See below for daily themes.

Time:

Camp runs from 9 am - 4 pm. Extended care is offered from 8:30-9:00am and 4:00 - 4:30pm for an additional $24/child for the week or $6/child/day.

Registration fees:

Cost per child is $200 for the whole week or $50 per child for single days. Discounts are available for siblings enrolling on the same day(s) or for the whole week. Please email for details.

5 - 12 years old

2017 Winter Break Day Camp

Daily Themes

Each day children will explore the outdoors and learn about life in the Rouge. Crafts, activities and games will help bring each topic to life.


Tuesday: Winter Birds

Wednesday: Winter Evergreen Plants

Thursday: Winter Animals

Friday: Winter Insects

Additional information you need to know

What to bring:

  1. -Each child must bring his/her own lunch, snacks and drinks (please note, we are a nut-free facility)

  2. -Refillable water bottle

  3. -Any medications and detailed instructions on administering them

  4. -Running shoes for inside, winter boots for outside

  5. -Hat, mittens, scarf, winter clothes for outside (please dress in layers)

  6. -Extra set of socks and pants


Please leave the following at home:

  1. -Cell phones

  2. -Personal video game systems

  3. -Toys and collector cards (e.g. Pokeman cards)
