Rouge Valley Conservation Centre

Orchard and Vista Trails

Located just outside the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre is the Vista trail. Parking is available at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre or on Zoo Road.

The Vista Trail is a 1.5km loop where you can see the bluffs, Little Rouge Creek and the Rouge River valley. Please watch your step on this trail as there are steep grades and steps and steep sections will be slippery during wet weather.

The Orchard trail is 2km in length. The north trailhead is a short 10 minute walk east of the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre. The south trailhead can be accessed from Twyn Rivers Drive.

To access this trail by car, from Highway 401 take Meadowvale Road northbound. Stay in the right-hand lane and take the ramp up towards the Toronto Zoo. At the top of the ramp, turn right and park on Zoo Road or at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre.

To access this trail by TTC, take bus #85B or #86A. Get off at the top of the ramp leading to the Toronto Zoo.
