Rouge Valley Conservation Centre Guided Nature Walk

November 14, 2010, 1:30pm

Nature prepares for winter with Stephen Kamnitzer. Please meet at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre. Click here for a map to the site. Please arrive between 1:00-1:30pm. The walk will begin at 1:30pm and last approximately 2 hours. Walks take place rain or shine, except during thunderstorms. Please wear season-appropriate clothing and hiking footwear. The walks are “pay what you can” with a suggested donation of $2 per person. All money collected goes to the upkeep of the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre and its programs. Rouge Beach Marsh Guided Walk

Nature walk with Robert Marshall. Please meet at the east end of the parking lot at Rouge Beach Marsh located at 195 Rouge Hills Drive at Lawrence Avenue East. The Rouge Valley Conservation Centre offers guided interpretive hikes and walks through the Rouge Valley and special events throughout the year.

Dates, times and themes for the hikes are listed in detail below. All hikes are lead by Rouge Valley Conservation Centre volunteers and usually run about 2 hours in length. The hikes are “pay what you can” with a suggested donation of $2 per person. All money collected goes to the upkeep of the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre and its programs.
