The Rouge Valley Conservation Centre offers guided interpretive hikes and walks through the Rouge Valley and special events throughout the year.


Dates, times and themes for the hikes are listed in detail below. All hikes are lead by Rouge Valley Conservation Centre volunteers and usually run about 2 hours in length. The hikes are “pay what you can” with a suggested donation of $2 per person. All money collected goes to the upkeep of the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre and
its programs. All donations are greatly appreciated. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $25 or more.


The Rouge Valley Conservation Centre also holds special events throughout the year. Events for the month, if any, are listed below. Please consult the special events section of our website for more detailed information.

Please meet at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre. Click here for a map to the site. Please arrive between 1:00-1:30pm. The walk will begin at 1:30pm and last approximately 2 hours. Walks take place rain or shine, except during thunderstorms. Please wear season-appropriate clothing and hiking footwear. The walks are “pay what you can” with a suggested donation of $2 per person. Rouge Valley Conservation Centre Guided Nature Walk

RSVP is required to participate. Please send your name and contact info to events@rvcc.ca along with the date that you are interested in and we will send you a confirmation. Please RSVP at least 24hrs prior to the date of the hike.

This early morning eye opener will be a fast paced 1 hour (2 hours if the group is up to it!) hike through one of the more diverse trails in the Rouge. This hike will get your heart rate up and burn some of those unwanted calories. Be sure to bring plenty of water and nuts, fruit and/or power bars to help fuel your outing.
