Rouge Valley Conservation Centre Guided Nature Walk

February 14, 2010, 1:30pm

Winter walk with John Foster. Please meet at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre. Click here for a map to the site. Please arrive between 1:00-1:30pm. The walk will begin at 1:30pm and last approximately 2 hours. Walks take place rain or shine, except during thunderstorms. Please wear season-appropriate clothing and hiking footwear. The walks are “pay what you can” with a suggested donation of $2 per person. All money collected goes to the upkeep of the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre and its programs. Milne Dam Conservation Park Trail Guided Walk

Nature walk with Robert Marshall. Please meet at the entrance of Milne Park located at 8251 McCowan Road, just south of Hwy 7. Click here for a map to the park. Please arrive between 1:00-1:30pm. Hoot and Howl walk with Rouge Park

February 20, 2010, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Join Rouge Park staff for their annual Hoot and Howl hike. Please meet at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre at 7pm for a short presentation on Owls and Coyotes followed by a hike in the Rouge Valley. Click here for a map to the Centre. Rouge Valley Conservation Centre’s Hike for Haiti

February 6, 2010, 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Join us on Saturday February 6 at 1:30pm for a special hike through the Rouge Valley with naturalist and photographer Andy McKinnon and Rouge Valley Conservation Centre hike leader Robert Marshall. After the hike, stay for a warm drink and conversation. Donate what you can, no donation is too small. All proceeds collected will go to the Canadian Red Cross Haitian relief. The Rouge Valley Conservation Centre offers guided interpretive hikes and walks through the Rouge Valley and special events throughout the year.
